Toyota. Moving Forward (to the Shithouse)

Toyota is back in the news. It seems our #1 car breeder factory is recalling another 1.5 million vehicles. Those Pricks! Didn't I just see one of their big bad commercials where they are bragging about their 172,000 employees working around the clock to ensure safety, while blah "blah blah blah" never happens again?I have learned one thing from having kids. When they say that they will "never do it again", it is 100% certain that they will. They will sin again, and they will do it soon.  So look out! Toyota has quickly grown from the beautiful baby of the auto world into the adolescent goth monster that enjoys burning furniture and Marilyn Manson chat rooms. Only months ago, these assholes were responsible for several accidents which involved loss of lives in some cases. The recall total in the past year has officially hit the 10 million vehicle mark. Do you hear that noise?  It's the sound of the fat lady singing. She is Japanese, apologetic, and of course it will "NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!"

Yep but people are still buying them. Now if it was Kia or Hyundai that's another story. Toyota just got big enough to feel they could safely out themselves.

Good point. Aren't Kia's and Hyundai's made from refurbished scrap materials?

Maybe this is the legacy of The Toyota Way.

Toyota started encounterind these issues when the moved most of their manufacturing here. They grew from a small modest company to the corporate monster they are today. I have owned several Japanese built Toyotas and there is no finer car in the world. These issues a risen from poor manufacturing and growing too large. Most Americans dont realize but their new Toyota was made here,so thank the fat lazy American for these issues. Lastly being a mechanic I see alot of crap vehicles and believe me the majority are built in the good ol' USofA,including the Toyotas,VWs,and several others.

Just because they put a factory here doesn't mean the owners aren't responsible for how their company is being run. That's the most insane thing I ever heard! So have their standards for safety gone to shit simply because they have factories in another local? When Americans move their companies abroad we hear shit about how their companies aren't running with the same standards they would have to here. They use the excuse "but we didn't know what was going on!", but we aren't dumb enough to realize that's not the case. The Japanese were just as fat, lazy, and money hungry as the Americans, otherwise wouldn't they have put the factory here in the first place. Also, if they are so far from fault as you say they are, then why in the hell would they let the shit happen AGAIN without taking action the first time!? It is still their name, reputation, and money on the line. Chew on that a while.
